Majid Jahangir, the famous comedian actor from the comedy play Fifty Fifty, died on Wednesday after a severe illness, his family confirmed. His son Fahad Majid announced that his father will be put to rest in Karachi. Due to fell from his bed last month Majid was injured. And his spine got fractured last month. He was also suffering from a respiration disorder that had recently worsened. In November 2020, he was severely ill and was brought to a hospital in Lahore. He has paralyzed about five years ago and was being treated in an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at Lahore’s Hospital. For his performance in ‘Fifty Fifty,’ he received the Pride of Performance Award. He worked for PTV (Pakistan Television Network) for 22 years and also play his comedian role in four films.
A few days before his death, comedian Majid Jahangir exposed Iqrar-ul-Hassan & Waseem Badami scam. Iqrar ul Hassan and Waseem Badami are well-known personalities and hosts. They continue to co-host Ramzan Transmission and are like brothers. Recently, majid claimed that they both defrauded him and leveled allegations against Waseem Badami & co-host Iqrar-ul-Hassan. Majid Jahangir revealed in critical condition that he was previously invited to Iqrar-ul-Hassan and Waseem Badami’s show. ‘In this show, people donated roughly ten Lac for me,’ he added. And Waseem Badami and Iqrar-ul-Hassan announce that they’ll donate this money to Majid’. Majid Jahangir contacted them after the show ended for money and a car, but they did not respond to him.
