Pakistani movie Jackpot released on 6th July, 2018 on Friday. Jackpot passing stuff like a dialogue in the movie “JOJO KE DO HI SHAUQ HAIN” and in english “JOJO HAS ONLY TWO HOBBIES”. Javed Sheikh played the role of a gangster named JOJO. As all exceptional art always borrowed, a dialogue for JOJO is to be borrowed from film; JOJO DOES ONLY HAVE TWO HOBBIES: Creating an entry scene and singing all the movies that comes JOJO’S way, his close up scene of smoking cigarette or cigar.
Pakistani filmmakers invariably using this way of character entrance and mainly when it is hero or villain. It was not funny anymore for me when I noticed that Javed Sheikh in almost same shots in which i already watched him twice in films this Eid. I do not understand the concept of making the same thing again and again with same person like in previous project “WAJOOD”. Unable to comprehend about his same shot fault and who is the faultier? his director? , co-star? Filmmaker? or all?

The picture “Jackpot” is both directed and produced by “Shoaib Khan”. Javed Sheikh as “JOJO”, in the character he didn’t done anything new or different and was on screen with the same boots he is been wearing from many years. The film was all about winning a lottery ticket of 100 crores which was in JOJO’s lost coat and the cast searches for it comprised of “Noor Hassan”, “Sanam Chaudhary”, “Adnan Shah” and “Tipu”. On a nice plot director placed characters with compelling small stories in story like: In hotel, a writer and receptionist boht are looking to get married, a gangster who wants money obviously, but others characters caught by gangster in all this scene.

Movie was well organized with nice plotting of characters from the beginning till the end of the story. Movie’s content was so dense and they direct humor on toilet jokes and inferior graded horseplay. Such few funny dialogues were there but they only few.

Everything was good with the film but the only thing was comedy, they tried too hard to make things out funny but they was genuinely not. Film’s comedy was only right at few spots but had tangled end of humor. I am confused about the editing too that why they edited the scenes which are not so attracting and I am imagining if after editing the scenes was like this than what they could be without emend. Jackpot’s script was written by “BABAR KASHMIRI” and well done man, you made one of the local stage show in the face of movie. I rating it 2.5 out of 5.
