The legendary actor of Pakistani films “Sultan Rahi’s” birth anniversary on Sunday was observed.
Sultan Rahi was born on 1938 in utter Pardesh, Saharanpur in India, he was from a Muslim family. After the partition in 1947, his family migrated to Pakistan and they settled in Gujranwala.
He was a famous and most demanded actor as Punjabi hero in 1970s to 1980s. He was praised by everyone due to his incredible acting skills and marvelous dialogue delivery. He amazed on screen his people by doing seven hundred plus Urdu and Punjabi language films and as prolific actor his name is entered in the Guinness book of world records.
His most popular film was “Maula jatt”, broke all the records and was released in 1979 and made new trends in the film industry, thus is the central point of his career.
Sultan Rahi was considered as a hard personality due to his voice, pitch of his voice was just like the thunder storms in the rocks and mountains is the heart echoes for his fans. All these characters made him unique from the other film stars in industry. Even some of his dialogues and sayings are still too popular that taken in other movies and dramas today.
